My life would be infinitely great if I could only be born at the age of seventy and gradually approach seventeen. But my body was born young and grows old, and that is my life's tragedy.

What I am feeling is what I paint. I paint in a meditative state which explains the introspective demeanor of many of my figures. These emotions are a binding human force....that connects with the viewer. The details of the story become personal once the emotion has been triggered.
